The Osage orange tree is native to south-central US specifically, Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas. It is a hardy tree and durable with strong wood and has been valued for centuries. The Native Americans used this wood for bow making. This is a custom-made coffee table made by us. The shape of the wood almost appears to resemble a large whale. Using several colors of epoxy/resin, we created a waterfall using Chesapeake Bay rocks, leaving intentional drips at the bottom for further effect. After doing the traditional sanding and prepping of the wood, we decided on a warm satin poly to seal the wood. The satin allows the wood to shine without gloss or glare. It measures approximately 65 1/2 inches long and at its widest is 19 1/2 inches - it does have a gradual depth reduction to 11 inches as is illustrated in the photo.  The legs are black metal, and new. The height is 18". Table available for purchase inshop or online. We offer delivery on our tables, but usually stay w/in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia areas.
